Central Garden & Pet Company (NASDAQ:CENT) announced today it has renewed its sponsorship as a major partner of this year's 'My Dog Loves Central Park Country Fair' on Saturday, October 14th, 2006.

Organized by the Central Park Conservancy and Central Park Paws, the 5th annual event invites New York's two-footed and four-footed residents to come and enjoy a day of socialization, information, interaction and most importantly celebration of Central Park and its commitment to providing a dog friendly environment within this world famous landmark in America's largest city.
