Protecting our Planet
Across our operations we are enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability. In 2023, our largest owned and leased sites consumed 405,000 MWh of electricity and natural gas, with Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions totaling 95,000 tCO2e. Over 60% of our forklifts are now electric, saving up to 7 tCO2e per unit annually, and we’ve automated manufacturing to cut emissions. Initiatives like vegan dog treats and alternative protein investments further reduce our impact. Our Four Paws brand exemplifies sustainability by using ethically sourced materials and optimizing product shipping, reducing annual emissions by 18,675 kgCO2e, equivalent to removing nearly 4,900 cars from the roads.
